Timor-Leste is a small and young nation with many development challenges and opportunities.  The purpose of this blog is to host short articles, comments and discussion of some of these issues from an economist's / economics perspective.  We aim to have the main posts published in both English and Tetum.  Enjoy reading, commenting, and if you have an original post you would like to submit, do let me know.  We will organise translation between Tetum and English if you need it.
